Sunday Evensong

An on line service uniting all of the St Aldhelm's Benefice is taking place each Sunday. Please find a link to the service on our Benefice website: purbeckhillsbenefice.wordpress.com This service will mark Remembrance Sunday. There will be a ceremony at the village war memorial marking the two minutes silence, but the Government is discouraging the general public from attending, instead recommending that people pay their respects on their doorsteps.

Collection of Christingle Kits

Pre-prepared Christingle Kits will be available for collection from the Church porch from 10am until 12 noon on Christmas Eve to enable you to fully join in with the on-line Christingle service in the afternoon.

Online Christingle Service

This year's Christingle service will be online because of Covid-19 restrictions. "Kits of parts" are available in advance through the village school (for school pupils), from the church service on the 20th (10-11 am) or the church porch on the morning of Christmas Eve from 10am until 12 noon. Over the last 50 years, Christingle celebrations have raised millions of pounds to support the life-changing work with children and young people carried out by the Children's Society.
