• Welcome to St Edwards Church
  • Friends of St Edwards Church

Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 situation, the church is closed to visitors other than at a limited number of times.

We are please to say that we are hoping to be open on Wednesdays (09:00 to 10:00) for a period of private prayer and reflection.

We are also planning to hold a short service of Morning Prayer each Sunday at 08:00.

We are still holding services every Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday online – please go to the Benefice Website to find a link – purbeckhillsbenefice.wordpress.com/

We have taken all reasonable steps to ensure that the risk of contracting COVID-19 from attending church is minimised. All those attending will need to sanitise their hands on entry and exit and will be given the opportunity to wear gloves whilst in church. Face coverings are not a requirement, but people may wish to wear them (bring your own!). You will be asked to leave your contact details with the sidespersons so the NHS would be able to get in touch should there be an issue.
If you are shielding or in a vulnerable group, please think long and hard before coming to church.
The Government and C of E guidance strongly advises wearing face coverings while in church, so please bring yours with you.

Information and messages on church issues and community support can be found on the church noticeboard.

Very limited services have now restarted.
